Meditation allows stillness.

Stillness is invited when you meditate - within your body, your mind and your spirit. Taking the time to quiet the chatter and busyness allows you to connect with your true self.    

At Connective Elements, meditation is a foundational element for growth and healing. Meditation changes us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Research is proving the benefits of meditation, reinforcing the long-held beliefs of ancient traditions.   

Meditation lowers stress levels, contributes positively to our self concept, increases our attention, body awareness, emotional regulation and pain management and increases our capacity for compassion.  Fascinating research has shown that meditation actually changes the structure of the brain itself - even after the actual meditation sit has ended.
